There are a total of five exercise/fitness Assessments that you will complete throughout this course . These assessments relate to principle guidelines of Health Screening and the Components of Fitness being referenced (Cardiorespiratory, Muscular Fitness, Body Composition, and Flexibility). Once the assessment is completed, you will utilize your findings to compare, categorize, and/or educate based on appropriate standards. Each assessment may have additional instructions and resources to use as a guide (documents/handouts, videos, etc.). The student will submit a summary write-up of the concluion of their findings, to include how they rate according to the health category for each assessment, and state if there is need for improvement, and how they will accomplish that. All write-up submissions are to be in WORD document format (APA standard) of 1/2 to one page in length. Please view the instructional videos provided (as it relates to that assessment only) and follow the instructions.
